The Texas Rangers are seemingly prepared to spend a lot of money this offseason, having posted a $51.7 million posting bid for Yu Darvish. The Rangers have 30 days to negotiate a contract with Darvish and his agents, or else the Rangers get their money back. With the loss of C.J. Wilson to the division rival Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim of America of Earth though, the Rangers will more than likely try to grab Yu Darvish at any cost. The bid placed by the Rangers beats the old record set by the Red Sox's bid for Daisuke Matsuzaka.
More news as it develops...
(Hopefully not until next year)
