Bruce Wayne is Batman. Damian Wayne is Robin. Dick Grayson is Nightwing. Barbara Gordon is Batgirl. Jason Todd is the Red Hood. The fates of Tim Drake, Cassandra Cain, and Stephanie Brown are all unknown right now, but Timmy is rumored to remain Red Robin with a costume redesign similar to his appearance in the underweb. Jason Todd will be teaming up in a new team called the Outlaws, a team of anti-heroes. On the cover of
Red Hood and the Outlaws #1, Red Hood continues to use guns and returns to his old outfit, teaming up with Roy Harper, referred to as Arsenal, despite dressing like Red Arrow, and Starfire.
Nightwing's makeover is similar to his outfit from "Progeny" where he pretended to become a bad guy while Jason Todd was pretending to be Nightwing, ruining his name. The red and black outfit also looks suspiciously similar to a hybrid of the Robin outfit from
Batman & Robin the film and Terry McGinnis' Batman outfit from
Batman Beyond.
Babs as Batgirl is sure to ignite some controversy, having spent the last 20 years in a wheelchair as Oracle.
